TAHL is a public company (ASX listed from 1996 – 2002) which owns an established hotel portfolio combining well located properties in the major commercial centres of Australia and New Zealand and a profitable regional network in Western Australia.

The Company’s portfolio is currently leased to or managed by AAPC one of the world’s largest hotel operators.

The Portfolio is based around the profitability of mid-scale and budget hotels. TAHL owns the newest 5-star Accor brand; the Pulman at Sydney Olympic Park, however the dominant Accor brands represented in the TAHL portfolio are Novotel, Ibis, and Formule 1.

$700m Refinance Completed

Australia’s largest hotel owner, Tourism Asset Holdings limited, has refinanced more than $700 million of debt.

TAHL chief executive Matt Eady said investor confidence was returning to the hotel market and had helped the group’s restructure. Mr Eady said there was no requirement for the unlisted group to raise additional equity from existing shareholders or externally.
